HYALURONIC MOIST BI-PHASE MICELLAR WATER

OPHTHALMOLOGICAL STUDY IN VIVO

We conducted an in vivo study of ocular tolerability of HYALURONIC BI-PHASE MICELLAR WATER in a panel of 10 healthy female volunteers aged 21-62 in cooperation with the department of Pharmacy of the University of Patras and a skilled eye doctors.

The product was used by the volunteers on a daily basis for 14 days, with the first application under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.
The quantification of the ocular irritation (erythema, edema, desquamation, blepharitis, loss of βλεφαριδών, other), is given by a numerical scale.
Before the first application, the ophthalmologist examined the volunteers.
The study was conducted under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.

All measurements were found to be "0" on the scale of eye irritation.
There were no reactions after the use of the product.
The product had good ocular tolerability and efficacy.

OPHTHALMOLOGICAL STUDY IN VITRO

We conducted an in vitro study of HYALURONIC BI-PHASE MICELLAR WATER with the aim of assessing the ocular irritancy potential after the application of the χοριοαλλαντοϊκή membrane(HET-CAM), in cooperation the department of Pharmacy of the University of Patras and a skilled eye doctors.

The irritant potential of the asset test HYALURONIC MOIST BI-PHASE MICELLAR WATER, can be classified as non-irritating to the eyes.
The quantification of the ocular irritation (hyperemia,bleeding,intra and extravascular denaturation of proteins), is given by a numerical scale.

Index irritancy seemed to be “0.5” which belongs to the scale of 0-0.9” with a designation of “non-irritant”.
